Do you want to find out where each boss of Elden Ring is located? With the immense scale of FromSoftware's latest masterpiece, it's easy to overlook certain bosses. There are so many of them, 83 actually, 9 of which you will probably face more than once, as there are 74 unique boss designs in the game.
While this is a work in progress, we will cover all 84 boss locations and an overview of each fight and how to approach it. Whenever a boss requires a more thorough walkthrough and strategy, we will redirect you to the boss's individual guide.
For our complete list of Elden Ring guides and walkthroughs, along with living coverage of updates and the latest news, I recommend you bookmark our Elden Ring Ultimate guide page.
Please look below at our map and walkthrough to find every boss in Elden Ring. We are getting started with Weeping Peninsula as it has the fewest(?) bosses, then we are moving to Limgrave, and we'll keep expanding the list with more regions until we cover all 84 bosses.
UPDATE: My maps cannot compete with Map Genie's so we added an iframe with the full interactive map, including bosses provided by them.
In this guide:
Weeping Peninsula Boss Locations (9 Bosses)
Burial Tree Watchdog (Impaler's Catacombs)
The Burial Tree Monitor Dog from Stormfoot Catacombs returns to the Weeping Peninsula, this time in the Impaler's Catacombs. The fight is the same as the Watchdog fight, except that several small Imp creatures in this arena harass you while fighting. I recommend that you get rid of them first.
Runebear (Earthbore Cave)
A sleeping Runebear can be found at the bottom of the Earthbore Cave. He quickly awakens and attempts to trample you to death every time you approach. The Runebear that stomps about in the Mistwood is identical to this Runebear.
These Runebears are powerful enemies, but not by boss standards. Get ready for a very basic in which you constantly switch between dodging and attacking.
Night's Cavalry, (Castle Morne Rampart).
You'll see another Night's Cavalry as you approach Castle Morne at Night. It's the one that guards the Highway Bridge in Limgrave. The Night's Cavalry variant carries a Nightrider Flail that he drops on your death. He's functionally identical to the Night's Cavalry.
Deathbird (Castle Morne Outskirts)
After passing the Wall where you fought Night's Cavalry, head west. As you approach the ramparts, you'll encounter a terrifying giant bird with a long neck, human skull, and face. Despite its name, Deathbird comes with a significant amount of HP.
Be prepared for a long flight, and one you might want to take on top of your mount for maximum mobility and evasion of the Deathbird's lunges towards you.
Cemetary Shade (Tombsward Catacombs).
You can find the shadowy Cemetary Shade at the Tombsward Catacombs. It can disapparate into shadowy mist at will and can wield dual blades. However, once you have it under control, you will find that the Cemetary Shade has minimal health, so you shouldn't need to take too much time.
Erdtree Avatar (Minor Erdtree)
Erdtree Avatars protect most Minor Erdtrees found in The Lands Between in Elden Ring. Although the Weeping peninsula's Erdtree Avatar is the smallest, it packs a powerful punch. Use fire and Spirit Ashes to distract, but be aware that it can also attack with multiple golden spells.
Scaly Misbegotten (Morne Tunnel)
Scaly Misbegotten is a boss that quickly becomes a regular enemy once you get further in the game. However, they are always a formidable opponent whenever you encounter them.
These formidable enemies wield huge greataxes and defer their strikes for longer than you might think. Dare you to dodge-roll early and get punished.
Ancient Hero Of Zamor (Weeping Evergaol)
The Weeping Evergaol is home to the Ancient Hero of Zamor, the Weeping Peninsula's only Evergaol. This tall figure uses a hooked blade cold attacks, and you should use fire damage if possible. For lots of damage, dodge around its cold breath attack.
Leonine Misbegotten (Castle Morne)
Leonine Misbegotten, the most formidable enemy on the Weeping Peninsula, is also the boss at Castle Morne. He can be found on the beach just below the castle. Thankfully, his attack pattern is very predictable, and he is not the fastest boss in the game. Make sure to bring a good shield and interrupt his combos with parries (get a shield with %100 physical damage block) and shield bashes (these require a tower shield).
You should be extremely wary of his last strike on most of his attack combos, essentially a cleaving downward strike that he will try to aim as well as possible, so you will have to rely on a perfectly-timed roll on your side to dodge. If this one connects, it will hurt.
Besides, you should rely on backing out whenever you have to, as the boss's combos are pretty slow to execute, and keep yourself at max hp. At the same time, you will have to monitor your stamina, as you don't want it to go too low and allow the boss to stagger you (that will be a wrap fast). Try to strike the right balance between blocking, attacking, and backing out so that you will always be able to defend yourself against Leonin.
Limgrave Boss Locations (26 Bosses)
How to beat Soldier Of Godrick (Tutorial Boss)
The Soldier of Godrick is the Cave of Knowledge's Soldier of Godrick. The challenge of this boss is borderline more complicated than the standard soldiers you will encounter in Limgrave. To take him down, you will have to block his attacks, use Guard Counter against him, and then have him on stun-lock by attacking while he recovers from a swing.
You will need a shield to block him and use Guard Counter, but once you do, you will take out around 30% of his health, and then you can take him down in a single attack sequence.
How to beat Demi-Human Chiefs (Coastal Cave)
The most straightforward dungeon in Elden Ring is the Coastal Cave. You can find it on the coast to the west of Limgrave. The Demi-Human Chiefs are at their end. The key to taking the two Demihumans down is to divide and conquer, so using your Spirit Ashes summon to split them up is a good idea. You also have the option to use a fast, one-handed weapon to strike on every opening or a more significant weapon with a wider AoE to take out some of their minions with every swing.
How to beat Burial Tree Watchdog (Stormfoot Catacombs)
The Burial Tree Watchdog is located at the Stormfoot Catacombs. You will need to open the locked door in the catacombs to encounter the Watchdog, a statuesque boss with two moving parts, its head and its sword-armed arm. You will need to time your dodge to avoid the spins and blade attacks from the arm.
Meanwhile, the head will keep floating around and, on occasion, launch a fire-breathing long-range attack on you. Additionally, last tracking you, it will levitate into the air and attack you by slamming into the ground three times and causing AoE damage.
Once again, you will have to time your dodges well to stay out of the attack's area of effect. Using Spirit Ashes is again recommended to distract the two parts, while ranged characters will have an advantage as the boss cannot close down on you that fast.
For melee classes, bringing a light inventory to the fight is recommended so that you can roll around faster and maximize your I-Frames whenever you try to take advantage of an opening.
How to beat Beastman Farum Azula (Groveside Cave)
You can find the Beastman of Farum Azula – another optional boss in Elden Ring –lurking in Groveside Cave, just past the wolves. You will find the Groveside Cave directly north of the Church of Elleh, a wooded area with a patrol squad to the left. There will be a lit torch at the cave's entrance.
He is a sneering, unpleasant-looking character with a badass-looking curved greatsword, which leads to slow attack sequences. During the fight, Beastman Farum Azula will let out a battle cry and then strike you with a 6-attack combo that finishes with the boss jumping into the and crashing down to the ground with a heavy attack that is reminiscent of Braver.
The battle cry is a clear alarm for you to back out and lunge in once the sequence completes, striking the boss once he is vulnerable.
You should be wary of the other attack when the boss grabs his blade with both hands above his head (another red flag). At this point, the boss will lunge toward you, so backing out of the attack's area of effect or rolling to one side is the best way to avoid it.
Finally, there is a three-part attack chain where the boss swings his sword to one side, then to the other, before eventually performing a shuddering strike in front of him.
All three attacks leave an opening for you to jump forward and deliver crucial head strikes while he is vulnerable. Make sure to back out once again swiftly, though, as despite his slow attack speed, Farum Azula can hit hard!
As an Astrologer all I had to do here was summon Lone Wolf Ashes, let the wolves distract him while I emptied my FP on him with Glinstone Pebble, and then I just went melee for a rolls and 5-6 hits for the killing blow. During the process, all three wolves stayed alive, so they can assist you, both as a ranged and melee player.
Reward upon defeat
Flamedrake Talisman & 1,000 Runes.
How to beat Stonedigger Troll (Limgrave Tunnels)
The Stonedigger Troll makes his home in the Limgrave Tunnels, north of Agheel Lake. It is one of the first dungeons – and subsequently bosses – one is likely to confront in Elden Ring, which is not to say the Stonedigger Troll is easy to deal with. At the same time, it's not that hard, by FromSoft's standards.
Stonedigger Troll might look powerful, but he can be a good helper if he has the right setup (i.e., a magic setup). This fight should be reasonably straightforward for users of sorceries and incantation. Make sure you stay out of range of the Troll's attacks and don't get greedy by casting more spells than you can handle. Other than that, you should be able to win this fight by spamming your most potent offensive magic spell.
Now, if you are a melee fighter, things will get trickier. Firstly, you should come into this fight with a blunt weapon, as all mobs in these tunnels, including the boss, are susceptible to Strike damage. Since you will be engaging in close-quarters combat, Dodge and rolls will be vital to avoid his stomping and running attacks, but due to the troll's size, you will always find a door to escape through its legs.
The 3-part running attack, in particular, will give you a great opening for a few shots if you can roll between his feet during his final phase to keep yourself from harm's way and find an opening while the boss is still recovering.
Finally, take note of the boss's overhead attack. Once you see him lift his club, you can perform a roll and get behind the boss, but don't get fooled by this positioning. The Stonedigger Troll boss comes with some tracking mechanic so he will re-adjust his positions when he launches the attack to target you. The best way to handle this is to back out and stay out of the attack's range altogether.
If you follow these steps and get accustomed to his attack patterns, you will quickly work on the troll, as magic damage works exceptionally well.
How to beat Grave Warden Duelist (Murkwater Catacombs)
Elden Ring's Grave Warden is located in the murky Murkwater Catacombs. The dungeon is located on the northeastern side of Limgrave. Players can reach it by jumping into Agheel Lake.
The tarnished will encounter slugs shortly after fighting a large group of skeletons. They can be defeated with fire, or players can walk through until they stumble upon a door that leads inside the Murkwater Catacombs.
Upon entering the Catacombs (as with most Elden Ring dungeons), the Site of Lost Grace can be accessed immediately. As a result, players can rest assured that if they die inside, the Runes they have lost will not require long-distance travel to be recovered.
You should note that this boss is bulky and uses hammers as weapons while being very agile. Looks can be deceiving. For those who are used to blocking, this is something to consider. Parrying may be an option if your timing is impeccable; however, his heavy hammer attacks will deplete your stamina quickly when you block.
Although he is very agile and aggressive, you can essentially boil his attack patterns down to his three-flash attack. This is what he'll use in the first half.
He will use sweeping attacks and leap slams with more extended reach as the fight progresses. If you are heavier, make sure to space your moves correctly. On the plus side, you can use the hammers' weight to your advantage as they will leave the boss vulnerable after each final attack of this sequence.
He'll become more aggressive as you enter below 50% health in the second phase. He will use vertical slam moves to pull you in, and he'll use the chains around his wrists to increase the reach of his hammers.
You can avoid most of his moves by simply rolling inward towards the boss. This is the best strategy since his flurry of attacks will leave him wide open and allow you to perform a backstab and increase your damage output.
Finally, backing out of the boss is not recommended as he will stop its combo sequence to hunt you down, so you won't find many openings to attack.
How to beat Bloody Finger Nerijus (Agheel River)
Be prepared for a boss that will put up a fight with this one. While exploring Limgrave in Elden Ring, you might find yourself under the highway bridge linking East and West Liurnia. You will find two things if you travel a short distance north. You'll first find Murkwater Cave on your left.
This is a crucial cave you must complete before facing Margit, Stormveil Castle's Fell Omen. Enter Bloody Finger Nerijus, a vicious miniboss.
You are most likely to meet Nerijus during the initial stages of Elden Ring's development, so he can be a difficult foe to defeat since your build will be suboptimal.
However, the right tactics and the right ally (the game itself handles that part) can make this fight much easier.
As you run towards the entrance to Murkwater Cave, Nerijus will spawn at the far end of the makeshift river arena and begin running towards you. Unless you have tremendous confidence in your abilities, you should try to delay his arrival as much as possible by running back toward where you came from, closer to the bridge. You should get rid of the skeletons near the bridge, but if you do not wish to go as far back as you can without attracting attention.
What is the point in delaying catching Nerijus? Well, great news! Shortly after entering the fight, an NPC ally will aid you.
Bloody Finger Hunter Yura is your best hope of surviving and taking this boss down. Yura will emerge from the bridge side and run towards you, so the less time you spend fighting Nerijus without him, the better, thus the employment of delay tactics.
The most accessible approach to this fight is to let Yura tank and stagger Nerijus, as he can also output a decent amount of damage. Once the boss is staggered, you can jump in on every opening to deliver a few extract blows.
What makes Neijus a deadly foe, is Reduvia, his dagger that allows him to deliver bleeding damage and hit you with airborne blood attacks that deal significant damage.
You should always be prepared for a ranged attack from Nerijus, even if it looks like he is preoccupied, as they come fast and without much warning.
Even worse, Nerijus will often switch targets unexpectedly between Yura and yourself, so your reflexes will need to be instantaneous even if it seems he is preoccupied.
For this reason, I highly recommend that you take advantage of the time windows during which he primarily focuses on Yura. This is the best time to heal. Remember, survival is the top priority here!
Reward upon defeat
Reduvia, one of the best daggers in the game, especially early on.
How to beat Patches (Murkwater Cave)
You can find Patches in Murkwater Cave, a dungeon north of Agheel Lake. Upon reaching the river, enter the cave after being invaded by Bloody Finger Nerijus. Before entering, be sure you have a torch (ideally a lantern, but you probably don't have one at this point).
Patches will come with a health bar similar to a boss encounter.
There are, however, a few key differences. Firstly, Patches is only as strong as any knight or shielded enemy you may have encountered in Gatefront Ruins.
In other words, as long you keep a distance, use your shield, and are patient, you can bring him down almost effortlessly.
Secondly, halfway through the battle, Patches will surrender to you and request that you cease fighting. Stop attacking and wait. The encounter will be over in a few moments, and you can “Forgive and forget” or choose the “Some things can't be forgiven“.
Going for the former option will unlock Patches as a vendor, and since he offers several valuable items that will help you in the early stages of Elden Ring, I recommend going with that option.
Patches will also talk about an unopened chest in the cage if you spare him. Finding and opening the chest will trigger a trap that teleports you to Mistwood. However, that won't change your status with Patches. He will remain a friendly vendor NPC from this point on.
Finally, killing Patches will reward you with leather armor, Spear +7, and several valuable items, but I don't think it's worth it, even though Spear +7 is a quite helpful piercing weapon early in the game.
Reward upon defeat
- Unlock as a vendor (Forgive and forget option).
- Spear 7, leather armor (Kill option).
How to beat Guardian Golem (Highroad Cave)
Although the Guardian Golem at Highroad Cave might seem difficult initially, once you have figured out the secrets to the boss fight, it is easy to make it a breeze. Use a blunt weapon to target the feet and use heavy attacks to knock it to the ground. This will prepare you for a crucial hit to the chest. Another route is to attack the boss with magic and the Lone Wolf Spirit Ashes summon and make really quick work of him.
The two primary things to consider is that his attack range is essentially 100% as you will fight the boss in a small room inside Highroad Cave. Consequently, backing out of his swing attack is not really an option. You will have to position yourself perfectly to sidestep it with rolls.
Once you close the distance and engage in CQC, you must time your dodges perfectly to avoid taking significant damage. This is why I recommend focusing on magic attacks and bringing out Lone Wold Ashes as a distraction for the boss.
How to beat Black Knife Assassin (Deathtouched Catacombs)
You can find the Black Knife Assassin at the northern end of Limgrave's Deathtouched Catacombs. He likes to dodge back and wait until the right moment to strike. However, his attacks aren't very strong so you can easily block him and slow down his health bar with patience.
How to beat Recusant Henricus (Colosseum Road)
As you approach the Limgrave Colosseum northeast of Stormhill Shack, Recusant Henricus enters. You'll be surprised at how slow his heavy melee attacks are. They do a lot of damage on impact but also cause a lot of damage. You can make Henricus's job easier by equipping a fast melee weapon such as a Dagger and rolling to reduce his health.
How to beat Mad Pumpkin Head (Waypoint Ruins)
The Mad Pumpkin Head lives in the cellar below Waypoint Ruins. It guards the area where Sorceress Sellen resides and is ready to share sorcerous knowledge with the player. The Mad Pumpkin Head is a vicious, bleed-inflicting slasher who loves to headbutt and slash at your head. You'll be fine if you take your time and don't get greedy about your attacks.
How to beat Night's Cavalry (Highway Bridge)
An ordinary horseback soldier guards the Highway Bridge that separates East and West Limgrave during the day.
Night's Cavalry replaces this soldier at night. This more powerful rider wields a wicked halberd and has a surprising reach. Use Torrent to hit and run against the boss.
How to beat Tree Sentinel (Church Of Elleh Road)
Assuming you consider Godrick's Soldier an actual boss (I don't), Tree Sentinel is the second boss you will face in Elden Ring. As he is the first foe waiting once you finish the tutorial and go out to Limgrave. His mobility and range make him a formidable foe, especially early in the game. Just because you see him the moment you get out, it doesn't mean you should try to beat him.
As an Astrologer, I couldn't use sorceries on him unless I found an opening since his shield reflects magic. Bummer. In most cases, you will just run out of runes as I did, so it's better to leave him alone now.
I recommend using Torrent to distract the Sentinel and a good selection of Spirit Ashes.
How to beat Flying Dragon Agheel (Agheel Lake)
Flying Dragon Agheel is the boss with the highest wow factor in Limgrave. However, it is easy to defeat as long as you remain on horseback. Agheel will fly into the middle of the lake and belch flames as you approach it. However, its powerful attacks can be easily avoided since they are clearly telegraphed.
How to beat Tibia Mariner (Summonwater Village)
Tibia Mariner summons undead skeletal enemies as companions to fight it. It teleports around Summonwater Village. The Mariner remains stationary for most of the fight and occasionally smashes the great with its boat. She will also teleport 3-4 times during the fight to get away from you.
The minions are easy to take down, and summoning Lone Wolf Ashes should be enough to distract them. The Mariner will be defenseless during the whole.
Reward upon defeat
Putting Tibia Mariner down will reward you with 2,400 runes, Skeletal Militiaman Ashes, and Deathroot. Deathroot is a key item you will need down the road.
How to beat Anastasia, Tarnished-Eater (Smoldering Church)
Anastasia Tarnished-Eater, another intruder like Bloody Finger Nerijus. You'll see her when you approach the Smoldering Church at the border of Limgrave and Caelid Wilds to the east. Unless you take her lightly, Anastasia is one of the easiest bosses in the game.
Her combo is easy to dodge, exposing her to your attacks at the end and allowing you to break her poise. Reduvia is highly recommended in this fight, as you will have to break her poise once for one blood explosion, and with a few more hits, she will be down. Anastasia's attack patterns even allow you to heal with a flask if you put some distance between you and her. Frankly, you should take her out quickly.
Reward upon defeat
Putting Anastasia, Tarnished Eater down will reward you with 2,531 runes, Furlcalling Finger Remedy, and Sacred Scorpion Charm Talisman.
How to beat Bloodhound Knight Darriwil (Forlorn Hound Evergaol)
The Evergaols serve as prisons for optional bosses that you can find across the Lands Between.
You can find Bloodhound Knight Darriwil inside the Forlorn Hound Evergaol in Elden Ring's Limgrave. The Evergaols are scattered about the map and can be activated from above for a chance to defeat the powerful enemy within. Although Bloodhound Knight Darriwil is probably one of the least powerful residents of Evergaol, that does not mean he cannot easily beat you in fair combat.
Those of you who have ventured into the Mistwood across the bridge from West Limgrave may have heard strange howling coming from the Mistwood Ruins. If you go to the Church of Elleh and speak to Kale about the howling, he will give you a new emote – “Finger Snap” – and instruct you to use it in front of the Ruins. If you do this, the source of the howling will leap down from the ruined tower and greet you.
It just so happens he's hunting for Bloodhound Knight Darriwil, and his name is Blaidd the Half-Wolf. This guy will make your life much much easier against Darriwil. Now the fight is essentially a cakewalk with Blaidd, but here are a few things to consider:
- The boss can essentially teleport to you so make sure to only heal when his attention is on Blaidd, to avoid being left exposed.
- Try to form a united front with Blaidd to break Darriwil's poise and stagger him quickly. If you do so, you will take Darriwil down extremely fast.
Reward upon defeat
Putting Bloodhound Knight Darriwil down with reward you with 3,800 Runes and Bloodhound's Fang.
How to beat Crucible Knight (Stormhill Evergaol)
Another Evergaol boss. The Crucible Knight hits hard, has a lot of poise, and has a number of AoE attacks during his second phase. He has unpredictable timings for his attack combos and does a lot of damage with each swing. During his second phase, he also uses angelic wings as well as holy attacks.
Note that the Crucible Knight is best fought later in the game. Bring your hardest-hitting weapon and a shield that can parry if you want to face the Crucible Knight at the very start of your playthrough.
After losing half of its HP, he goes into its second phase. Even though the Crucible Knight is powerful, he is relatively slow, which leads to some of the clearest attack patterns of any boss in Elden Ring.
Your best bet is to approach the fight with a melee build, as the arena is too small for ranged gameplay. Almost all of Crucible Knight's attacks can be parried leaving him vulnerable to a guaranteed critical hit.
Another tactic to buy you time is to move away from the boss and throw projectiles at him until he raises his shield and uses a charging attack. Get ready to parry at this point. Since you will be relying on parrying, Ashes of War may come in handy in this fight.
If you can stunlock Crucible Knight you will delay the transition to the second phase, as he will have to use Angelic Slash at least once before transitioning. As already mentioned, most of his attacks have very clear tells so you should be able to parry or dodge them. For phase 2 you should mostly rely on dodging.
Reward upon defeat
Aspects of the Crucible: Tail.
Bell Bearing Hunter (Warmaster's Shack).
The Bell Bearing Hunter, a formidable opponent, will appear in Knight Bernahl's place in Warmaster's Shack at night. The Bell Bearing Hunter can use his telekinetic ability to control his sword to launch devastating mid-range attacks. To defeat him, you can stay out of his reach and use spells and arrows to slay him until he falls.
How to beat Ulcerated Tree Spirit (Fringefolk Hero's Grave)
Early on in Elden Ring, you will have the opportunity to face Ulcerated Tree Spirit. This one is a tough cookie; thanks to its powerful attacks and rolling movements, this evil spirit is one of the most challenging fights you will encounter in Limgrave. Making your way to the boss will feel like a cakewalk once you encountered it.
Despite being easily accessible in Fringefolk Heroes' Grave, the Ulcerated Tree Spirit is the most brutal boss in Limgrave. Its movements can be unpredictable and are designed to obscure its powerful attacks. Additionally, it can take quite a bit of punishment. It is best to come to this fight once you have made significant progress in Limgrave to increase your chances of beating the boss as it is as much of a challenge as Godfrick.
The main characteristic of this boss fight is its unpredictability factor. You should try to stay close to the boss during its fire-breathing attack as you can get behind it and deliver some vital blows. However, occasionally, the boss will leap away from you to the wall as build up to a sneak attack from behind. Be extremely wary of this pattern and get ready to dodge once it occurs.
Additionally, note that during the transitional sequence of the battle from phase 1 to phase 2 at around 50% HP the boss will start to shake its head violently. This time you don't want to close in on it. Instead, you will need to run away as fast as possible as the boss is about to explode.
One area that Ulcerated Tree Spirit does not excel in is combo attacks. Its attack habits revolve around powerful single attacks. You should take advantage of the available split-second windows to heal up or even deliver a minor hit to it. Anything more time-consuming will leave you exposed.
To make things worse can also find another Ulcerated Spirit living below Stormveil Castle. Head to the Secluded Cell Site Of Grace. Next, go into the area of the pots. Then, double back, climb onto the ledge, jump through the window, and head towards the Secluded Cell Site Of Grace. Follow the new path to Stormveil Castle and prepare for more of the same challenge.
How to beat Crucible Knight (Stormveil Castle)
In a well-hidden part of Stormveil Castle, you can find an exact replica of the Crucible Knight that you saw in the Stormhill Evergaol. Kill the three explosive barrel-wielding birds just after the Rampart Tower Site Of Grace. Then jump off the jutting out section of the ledge to your left. You'll find another Crucible Knight if you follow the path.
How to beat Grafted Scion (Stormveil Castle)
The Grafted Scion will be the first boss you meet in Elden Ring. To give you an idea of the problematic and punishing game ahead, the Grafted Scion is given to you in a FromSoftware move. You should now be familiar with the Grafted Scion's multi-handed sword attacks, and unusual spider-like movements, and you will soon reencounter him in Stormveil Castle.
How to beat Margit (The Fell Omen)
The Fell Omen, Margit, is the first boss required in Elden Ring. He guards Stormveil Castle's entrance and will prevent you from entering the castle. Margit, a powerful boss that can be reached far and attacks relentlessly, is an early-game standard.
How to beat Godrick (Stormveil Castle).
Godrick the Grafted, Lord of Stormveil Castle, is the boss of Limgrave. As you can see, he is not a pushover. Godrick, like Margit, uses aggressive combo attacks requiring many successive dodges. His second phase allows him to use a dragon's skull as an arm. This acts as a flamethrower, and you should be careful when approaching.
For more information, see our Eldenring Godrick, the Grafted boss battle walkthrough.
